Our staff
The people cooperating with the nodes of forestlab.net include undergraduate and graduating students, PhD candidates and post PhD young researchers with non-permanent positions. They are all usefull for the different activities of the network. For this reason it is extremelly difficult to estimate the total number of people to be considered as members of our staff. The key people with permanent positions coordinating most of the activities of the forestlab.net are the following:

Gherardo Chirici, associate professor of forest geomatics at University of Molise
Marco Marchetti, full professor of forest resource management at University of Molise
Davide Travaglini, researcher in forest geomatics at University of Florence
Anna Barbati, researcher in forest resource management at University of Tuscia
Giovanni Sanesi, associate professor of urban forestry and ecology at the University of Bari
Raffaele Lafortezza, researcher in forest geomatics at University of Bari
International cooperation
forestlab.net has a large number of connections with different national and international bodies related to forest research and politics, such as IUFRO, Forest Europe and EFI.
At national level the members of the network frequently operativelly support the activities of the Italian Academy of Forest Sciences located in Florence (Italy).
